As a powder coater you know about the challenges when your products have complex shapes like motorbike frames, powder coating rims or difficult to reach product areas. The powder coating gun handle design makes access to the powder path, trigger switch and cable easier and the quick-disconnect delivery hose also speeds cleaning and color change.

When it comes to DIY powder coating, the Encore LT spray systems also provide an ideal solution for home powder coating and everyday powder coating applications for enthusiasts and entrepreneurs. Unmatched Controller Flexibility

The all-digital easy to use gun control unit offers full capability for maximizing coating control, part coverage and efficiency. The extensive list of Encore LT controller features includes

  • Patented Nordson Select Charge® technology – choose from pre-programmed electrostatic coating pre-sets for deep cavity, re-coating or metallic powder applications
  • AFC (automatic feedback current) control – automatically selects the optimum electrostatic charge voltage, based upon gun-to-part distance
  • Classic electrostatic control – allows users to select either kV or AFC operating mode
  • Custom electrostatic control – total flexibility to set kV and AFC independently
  • Robust handle, trigger and cable design – withstands the constant gun movement associated with manual painting, and assures easy serviceability when required
  • Closed-loop air pressure control – delivering precise, repeatable powder output regardless of fluctuations in plant air pressure
  • Smart Flow air pressure control – enables you to adjust powder output as a function of total flow, without affecting spray velocity once set

Choose Your Configuration

Designed with versatility in mind, the Encore LT mobile dolly systems are available in three configurations, to best suit your specific powder coating needs

  • For feeding powder direct from the manufacturers box, choose between two vibratory box feeders – either 110- or 220- volt versions.
  • Alternatively, feed powder from a 50lb (23Kg) capacity stainless-steel fluidized hopper.

The Encore LT is also available in wall- or rail-mounted configurations for fixed installation.

Easy Start Up

All Encore LT systems are designed for plug-and-spray installation, with simple set-up requiring just an air and power supply to be coating like an experienced operator immediately.

  • Encore nLighten LED Kit - A fast, convenient and safety-approved accessory that instantly adds the power of an LED light to the Encore spray gun.
  • Encore Cup Gun Kit – perfect for laboratory use, new color sample testing or low-volume, fast-changeover multiple color applications.
  • Wide variety of nozzle sizes and types – help you tailor the spray patterns to specific part geometries, for more efficient part coverage and powder material utilization
  • Parts tray – for quick, easy access to often-used alternate nozzles, spare pump throat for quick change out, and other components
  • 150 mm and 300 mm (6" and 12") lance extensions – for extending the gun’s reach when coating larger parts

Our History in Powder Coating

Beginning in the late 1960s, Nordson pioneered the technology and equipment for applying powder coatings with the development of the compact and efficient cartridge type recovery and recycle systems. Nordson continually refined its cartridge booth technology and is still an innovator in all aspects of the powder coating process.

From the 70's Nordson led the evolution of powder coating technology by inventing the internal voltage multiplier, a decisive development which has since become the standard across the globe.
