01 series double splice tape is used for jointing carrier tapes in the SMT process. It is made of 2 tapes,release paper and PET material with superior adhesion.

Step 1Put carrier tape into placement pin of cutter and cut the tape.
Step 2Peel of the paper liner.
Step 3The raised dots of the clear plastic carrier engage with the sprocket holes.
Step 4Stick another pre-cut reel.
Step 5Fold splice tape over connected tape.
Step 6Peel off the plastic liner.
