Overview
The pneumatically actuated Liquidyn® P-Jet SolderPlus jet valve features a modular design, which simplifies maintenance and reduces service time. Pre-qualified SolderPlus solder paste from Nordson EFD streamlines implementation of the system by delivering a complete, qualified solution. The non-contact dispensing system eliminates the need for Z-axis movement, allowing for faster production speeds. The system also makes it easy to dispense solder paste consistently onto uneven surfaces. It protects fragile substrates from damage since there is no contact. The P-Jet SolderPlus valve jets Nordson EFD’s specialized, ISO-certified solder paste formulations in a wide variety of leaded and lead-free alloys. Unparalleled Speed and Accuracy
Jetting, or non-contact dispensing, allows manufacturers to dispense small amounts of fluids at faster speeds without sacrificing accuracy. The results include reduced waste, rework, and rejects, and higher throughput yields.
Because there is no contact between the dispensing tip or nozzle and the part itself, jetting can reduce part damage and contamination. Fluid can be applied on hard-to-reach and uneven substrates.
